Committing to Pitt
Last month we asked you to pray for Jacob as he considered which university to attend in the Fall. We are happy to report that Jacob has now committed to the University of Pittsburgh, where he will pursue an accelerated Master's degree in Athletic Training. Because he has already completed two years of community college, he will be able to earn his Bachelor's and Master's in just three years at Pitt. When Jacob made his decision, he did so thinking that he would not get any financial aid, and indeed the first financial aid offer he received from Pitt awarded him no grants or scholarships. But after we appealed to the Financial Aid office, they ended up awarding him a substantial amount in grants. And just two days ago, they surprised us by awarding him an additional grant from discretionary funds they had available for the coming school year. Not only that, but the Lord made a way for Jacob to live in a house near campus with student leaders in Pitt's thriving Chi Alpha campus ministry when he starts school in the Fall. God is so good, and he has answered our prayers. Thank you for praying with us!

Adam completed his check of Exodus earlier this month, and the book is now being reviewed by a consultant to prepare for an in-person check with mother-tongue Enga speakers that will happen in June. In addition to responding to the consultant's questions about Exodus, Adam is now checking the book of Leviticus. Ritual laws about sacrifices and purity can be challenging to translate, so please pray for Adam and the team as they work through these difficult books.
As always, thank you for your prayers and support. We couldn't do what we do without faithful friends and partners like you.
